~ Clearly Muddled Blog ~
When life becomes a giant juggling act, Josh has figured out his approach; just don’t think about it. He’s really good at that. I’m not.
Selling a house involves all kinds of strangers coming into our space, needing all kinds of questions answered, leading to all kinds of necessary adaptations to our regular routine. It’s a lot to process, so Josh doesn’t. He doesn’t think about it, so he doesn’t have to do anything about it. Uh…that’s kind of a problem.
This looks and feels different than the shutting down that we’ve talked about before. This is more like a vacancy sign flashing. He’s not focused on the move because it’s a hard subject, with way too many unanswered questions. He doesn’t know what to do, so he does nothing. It’s a tough situation for me, and I can only imagine what he’s experiencing.
We’ll get through this chaos. My fingers and eyes are crossed that once we’ve moved, Josh will come back to us. If that sounds melodramatic, it is. Don’t judge this drama queen! I’m having a day. Or, half a day…I’ve got to get back to packing.
